Kenny Hill's Artwork
Kenny Hill developed this artist studio in the open in Houma Louisiana. He created these sculptures, and then disappeared. A lot of the writing in the cement talks of lonliness, emptiness and loss. These works are more wonderful than a photo can capture. The artwork is on a side street down da' bayou, and is supported by donations left in a little metal box at the entrance.
cemetaries
I admit, I have a love of cemetaries. As it so happened, I found out my father died while I was in New Orleans. We were not close, he didn't want me in his life. No resentment, no regrets, it is just what it was. He chose to move on and away....we were more alike than he knew. Just a few photos of the cemetary in Houma , LA.
