lady Eleanor with a fringe...and a retreiver

This photo took three takes....two of which were me trying to get Jacob to let go of the scarf.....after 6 years he is still a total goof.

But bailey is perfect.Always has been .She came to my mom through a real estate agent. My mom opened the car door and bailey got out to a world where she has been treated like a queen ever since. She deserves it. She is like Walt Disney dog.

Jake wandered off to find trouble in the form of a tree mushroom. The fringe took about a thrid of a skein of SWS wool.

jacob is perfect....when he sleeps. He turned 6 this year, and this was the first year you could leave a boot on the floor and not have to chase him around the house for it.He is perfect just before he falls asleep. I got him for my mom for christmas 6 years ago....and she still hasn't forgive me

my secret snowflake rules!!!

I opened the box and was blown away, everything was so nicely wrapped, and so thoughtfully chosen. The red yarn is so retro, I LOVE it. The books farm yarn is so wonderfully soft, I justwant to knit a bra from it...The stitch markers are gorgeous, and the accesories are great. The kitty nametag holder will come to me woth work this week.LOVING the pepermint lip balm and hand cream.Check out the fibres for spinning, all wonderful colors and labelled so I can practice and see what I like best.

Thank you AKKnitter, you are the bees knees !

crosspatch

This took 2 afternoons to make, and very interrupted knitting it was on those two afternoons. LOVED the pattern and the speed, but may try it in stocking stitch next time to show off the pattern more.Took two half skeins of Lamb's Pride bulky, on 5.5 mm needles in magic loop.

finished Sea Baby

This was a love/hate project. The gauge was not specified on the pattern , and it worked up VERY SMALL on their recommended needles. I switched to 3.5 mm needles for all parts. I had to block it quite severley to get it to eve a small newborn size, but i do love it and the recipient is an artist who does a lot of textural work in these colors.I think she will love it. It is from Perl Grey, and uses Fleece Artist Sea Wool.

Sea Baby almost done

This has been painful to knit. The sizing is VERY small. I upped the needle size to 3.5mm for the leggings and hat, as they were too small for a premature baby as the pattern was written. The Sea wool is nice enough to use, and blocks quite large...but has NO elasticity.Might be a problem with the hat. I am looking forward to knitting the whole thing again in another yarn.

Lady Eleanor

Nice.....noticed the two HUGE fumbles as I was laying her out to block...

I can't decide whether to add fringes or not.

sideways spencer...the ribbing goes on and on and on

The body of this sweater knit like a dream, the ribbing makes me want to poke my eyes out.I will take it to work and knit whil people talk about their wedding plans.....will make the ribbing pain-free in comparison . This was knit in Cascade 220, in a deep dark burgundy.
