Who goes to Thunder Bay in JANUARY?? Snowshoeing through the forest was kind of nice, in spite of the minus 40 degree weather. The hat was knit for the legendary Thunder Bay Dave after he shrunk the Koolhaus hat ( before I got a picture of it ) .

Knit in Mirasol Qina, 1.25 skeins, size 4.5 needles. Great knit, but moving the markers during decreases at the crown was a PAIN in the ass.

Turn a square also by Jared Flood, knit in lamb's Pride worsted and Silk Garden. Knit up in a little over an afternoon.
