kool aid dyejob

for once the dyejob isn't on my hair!! Here is the result of kool aid dyeing a hank of KNitpicks dye-your-own sock yarn. I used a 9x9 inch baking glass pan, dyed once with four packs of black cherry kool-aid, then before drying, i overdyed with four packs of grape. It took at least five 2 minute rounds of microwaving at 2 minutes per time to get the dye to take up the colors completely.
